Global Warming pro.

Global Warming!
The earth is heating up, theirs no denying it. Even the skeptics will admit that. Over the past two hundred years, the average temperature has changed from ~-2 degrees. Whereas now it is ~7degrees! That’s a change of 4.5 degrees every hundred years, now to me that’s not very intimidating, but 2009 was tied for the warmest year in the record books with 1998, 2002, 2003, 2006, and 2007. However the coldest year in the decade was 2008 so theirs some fuel for the people who don’t believe in Global Warming.

Now there maybe a lot of bad happening when id comes to global warming, but there is good happening to, people are coming up with new “green” technology that’s sole purpose is to lower emissions or lower electricity usages. Here are a few:
“-Energy efficiency, from the kitchen to the desktop.
'-Green' living; adopting a lifestyle that accommodates solar, wind and renewable sources of energy.
-Vehicles that run on 'green' fuel, hybrids and popular designs.
-Afforestation; to prevent carbon intensive paper production and encroaching upon 'green' space.
-Environment friendly, solid chemical disposal systems.
-Climate controlled buildings with construction designs to harness the forces of the elements.”

There are a lot of ways you can help combat climate change right in your own home, some of whom are listed above. However there are some more simple things to do like; Change to energy efficient light bulbs, have a shower not a bath, (Showers on average use ½ the water of a bath) use a cloth bag the next time you go to the grocery store and don’t bother with those plastic ones, and probably the easiest one, just turn off your lights when your not in the room. Quite a lot of energy is wasted this way.
